WHAT GASCOVID LIQUID IS USED FOR
Used for treatment of symptoms of gastro-oesophageal reflux such as acid regurgitation, heartburn, indigestion due to reflux of stomach contents.
HOW TO USE GASCOVID LIQUID
– HOW MUCH TO USE
For oral use.
Shake well before use.
Adult & children > 12 years old
10 – 20ml after meals and at bed time.
Children 6 – 12 years old
5 – 10ml after meals and at bedtime.
Children under 6 years old
Should be given only on medical advice.
– WHEN TO USE IT
After meal and at bedtime.
– HOW LONG TO USE IT
If your symptoms do not improve after seven days, consult your doctor.
– IF YOU FORGET TO USE IT
Consult your doctor or pharmacist on what you should do if you forget to use it.
Take the missed dose as soon as you remember. If it is almost time for your next dose, wait until then to take the medicine and skip the missed dose. Do not take a double dose to make up for the missed dose.
– IF YOU USE TOO MUCH (OVERDOSE)
Contact your doctor immediately or go to the Emergency Department of your nearest hospital, if you think you or anyone else may have taken too much of this medicine. Do this even if there are no signs of discomfort or poisoning. You may need urgent medical attention.
If you take too much of this medicine you may feel bloated. It is unlikely to cause you any harm, but please consult your doctor or pharmacist.
BEFORE YOU USE GASCOVID LIQUID
– WHEN YOU MUST NOT USE IT
Do not take this medicine if:
you know you are allergic to any of the ingredients as very rarely difficulty in breathing and skin rashes have occurred.
Some of the symptoms of an allergic reaction may include:
urticaria
bronchospasm
anaphylactic or anaphylactoid reactions
Do not take this medicine after the expiry date printed on the pack or if the packaging is damaged.
