1. What Meconeuro Capsules are and what they are used for
Meconeuro Capsules contain Mecobalamin, which is known as vitamin B12.
Vitamin B12 can help reduce nerve pain (peripheral neuropathy) by exerting various effects on the nerves.
3. How to take Meconeuro Capsules
Always take this medicine exactly as described in this leaflet or as your doctor or pharmacist has told you. Check with your doctor or pharmacist if you are not sure.
Please read the label carefully, it will tell you how many Meconeuro Capsules to take each day.
The recommended dose is:
The usual adult dosage for oral use is 1 capsule three times a day (1500 mcg of Mecobalamin per day). The dosage may be adjusted depending on the patient's age and symptoms.
Meconeuro Capsules should be swallowed with water. Your doctor may change the dose, depending on how you react to it.
If you take more Meconeuro Capsules than you should:
If you accidentally take too much of this medicine, bring any remaining capsules and this leaflet with you to your doctor or pharmacist so that they know exactly what you have taken.
If you forget to take Meconeuro Capsules:
If you miss a dose, take it as soon as you remember, if it is within a few hours of the normal time. Otherwise, leave out that dose completely and take your next dose at the normal time it is due. Do not take a double dose to make up for the forgotten dose.
2. What you need to know before you take Meconeuro Capsules
DO NOT take Meconeuro Capsules:
if you are allergic to Mecobalamin or any of the other ingredients of this medicine (listed in section 6 – please refer to the Product Insert/Patient Information Leaflet published on HSA for the full drug information).
